How we use it

  • To provide Scraps: logging, reports, team access and exports.

  • To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We don't sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Why we're allowed to use it

We use your information to perform our contract with your business, for our legitimate interests in running a secure service, to meet legal obligations, and with your consent where needed.

Cookies

We only use essential browser storage to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.

Who can see it

Your business's data is visible only to people in your business. Owners can see which staff logged each entry. We share data with: hosting and sign-in providers that run the service; Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sales, subscriptions, payments, tax and invoicing; professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers; and authorities where the law requires. Some of them may store data outside Australia, for example in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

Keeping it secure

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to your business's members. Data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of account closure unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or to delete your account, by emailing us. Staff can ask their business owner to remove them from the team at any time.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
